Farming with Friends Partnership Update

Crown Point Ecology Center is thrilled to announce a partnership with Farming with Friends (FwF), a non-profit focused on regenerative farming with roots in Hinkley, Ohio! This partnership returns chickens, turkeys and sheep to our farm for the first time in many years, fulfilling a long-time vision for Crown Point aligning with our shared goal of regenerative agriculture.

Farming with Friends is a nonprofit that provides meaningful agricultural work opportunities for individuals with disabilities. As Crown Point’s partner, they will manage their own livestock while Crown Point continues to focus on sustainable farming, social justice initatives, and community programs.

Farming with Friends will have an online storefront along with a self-serve egg stand open weekdays during Crown Point's business hours. (More information to come on pre-orders and the self-serve egg stand.)

This partnership allows Crown Point to introduce animals to the farm without shifting resources from our core work. While both organizations will operate separately, we look forward to new opportunities as our collaboration grows.
