What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a unique connection between you and our farm— a true acknowledgement of where our food comes from. Becoming a CSA shareholder means you buy a share of the farm’s harvest in advance, before seeds have been purchased or plants grown. Your commitment in the winter allows our farmers to purchase the necessary inputs needed to operate for the growing season. In return, you’ll receive a variety of certified organic, freshly harvested, delicious and nutritious produce every week or every other week.
This unique connection is not just with a farm itself, but with the land, it’s stewards and our mission to fight hunger in our community.
Our 2025 CSA shares are now available!
About Our CSA
-
Crown Point has been growing certified organic produce since 1994, making our CSA program one of the longest running + organic programs in Northeast Ohio.
We practice sustainable and soil regenerative techniques that produce higher quality and nutrient dense produce.
-
Everything on the farm is grown without the use of non-organic fertilizers and pesticides. Instead, we use high nutrient compost, leaf mulch and poultry manure. We also use less machinery and rely on less mechanical farming methods thus reducing the impact of our footprint and improving the health of the soil.
-
We select only high-quality, organic and non-GMO seed and soil amendments such as Tilth growing medium. We pride ourselves in searching for heirloom and hybrid plant varieties you know and love, plus some few varieties you may not have yet tried.
-
We coordinate produce pick-ups on either Wednesdays from 4-7pm OR Fridays from 4-7pm
Pre-packed bags and “market style” options are available for CSA shares. (See our FAQ information below)
We know you have a busy schedule, so select which pick-up day works best for you each week and arrive anytime between the designated time.

CSA Shareholders have access to our weekly E-Newsletter describing the contents of the weeks CSA share, as well as a couple helpful recipes and storage tips.
We also have several family-friendly events throughout the year that you will be invited to join. Attendance is not required.
