Self-Guided Trails

Meditation Labyrinth

A labyrinth is not a maze. It has no blind alleys or dead ends as mazes have. It is unicursal (one line), meaning there is only one path to the center and back out. The path twists and turns back on itself many times before reaching the center. Once at the center, there is only one way back out.

There is no set time for how long it takes to walk a labyrinth since each one is unique. Some may take only 5 minutes, while others may be significantly longer.

Note: If you plan to walk the labyrinth, please plan to wear long pants and closed toe shoes especially if you are allergic to poison ivy and to reduce the incidents of ticks found on your skin.

With your help! We are always in need of volunteers to assist us in trail maintenance, including mowing, trimming, mulching, limb removal and more.

We use sustainable management and find that large groups are best for large invasive removal projects, woodland trail management and more.
