Join us for a Wetland Adventure at Crown Point's pond where we'll explore and identify diverse wetland species in-person on August 11th, 2024 from 9:00am - 11:00am. We invite nature enthusiasts of all ages to explore the wonders of Crown Point's Pond, located at 3220 Ira Road, Akron, OH 44333. Perfect for adults and families!

During this adventure, you will help discover the incredible biodiversity thriving in the wetlands! Kevin Gross, Crown Point's executive director will lead you on a short hike to the pond where you "pond-dip" for macroinvertebrates, amphibians, reptiles + more while using a dichotomous key!

Be prepared to learn something new and awaken your sense of adventure as we embark on an exciting journey to spot fascinating creatures. This hands-on experience will allow you to learn about the importance of wetlands in preserving our ecosystem.
